AWAL, Kobalt’s recording company, today announced a worldwide recordings deal with Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter and visual artist, Ella Vos. The AWAL recordings deal offers Vos and hwyl records a full range of services, including global marketing, campaign coordination and global distribution.
Said AWAL President, North America, Ron Cerrito of the deal, “Ella Vos has experienced tremendous growth since her debut and consistently distinguishes herself as a creative force to take note of. She continues to evolve as an artist pushing the boundaries of her music with powerful lyrics and unmistakable vocals. We are proud to support her on upcoming projects as she embarks on the next phase of her career as an independent artist.”
After releasing her debut single, “White Noise,” in 2016, Vos earned praise for her powerful vocals from outlets including Rolling Stone and Neon Gold. She followed with her single, “You Don’t Know About Me,” in the spring of 2017, which earned more than 17 million streams and was remixed by R3HAB. Additionally, Vos released her critically acclaimed album, “Words I Never Said” in 2017 and her EP, “Cast Away” in November 2018 having amassed nearly 50 million lifetime streams.
