Frally has just released a single which has been featured on the television program, Friday Night Lights. Check out what she has to say about the track:
I'm Australian, I live in Nashville, Tennessee and i recorded this duet in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with Teddy Thompson who is from London. If it were possible i would just sing almost everything I ever write with Teddy because apart from the fact that he is an incredibly gifted singer, he also has an emotional intuitiveness that is the perfect sensibility for my music. Which is a long way of saying he makes it better!
The album was produced by Jeff Hill, who i met about 7 years ago when he was touring with Rufus Wainwright, playing bass. Jeff is simply a brilliant musician. He plays Bass and Cello but he reconstructed his apartment (he literally built a wall with his bare hands) and made a studio. Jeff has a rare combination of talent, patience, passion and absolute integrity. I never once thought i could have been in better hands.
The song has a few layers. The most obvious one to explain is that we all perceive each other energetically well before we begin to speak and as unique and individualised as we all think we are, the real story is, when we back up from the details of grandeur or despair that we impose upon ourselves, we are all part of the same human experience. Sometimes i just want people to shut up. Who are you if you can't explain who you are?
